When making a purchase with The Galloping Guru, you agree that all equine activities come with a risk of injury or death. Horses are animals and can be unpredictable and in no way is The Galloping Guru, or it's partners, liable or responsible for any injuries you may incur from your involvement with horses. When you book a ride, you take responsibility for knowing your capabilities and for any accidents that may occur.
The Galloping Guru requires all riders to provide their riding history and ability level in an Intake Form for our horse partners to review and prepare. You are responsible for providing an honest and thoughtful self-evaluation.
Return policy
By booking with Galloping Guru, you agree to the following cancellation policy:
All payments are non-refundable.
Lessons: If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled lesson, you will receive a credit to be used toward a future booking. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Hunts, Hunter Paces, Off-Property Hacks, Horse Shows, Clinics, and Other Off-Property Events: If you cancel more than 72 hours before the scheduled activity, you will receive a credit to be used toward a future booking. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the activity are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Ride credits are valid for 1 month from the original booking date and are not applicable to retreats or multi-day events.
If Galloping Guru or one of our partners cancels an activity, you will be offered the option of a refund or a credit toward a future booking.
Privacy policy
When you visit our site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.
By signing up for any Galloping Guru ride or event, you are allowing The Galloping Guru to use your name, email, phone number and personal information (height, weight, experience) solely for contacting and horse matching purposes.
We send out emails to riders ahead of individual rides and events to try and coordinate carpooling and social connections. Please indicate to us via email if you do not want to participate in email correspondence with fellow riders for events.
By signing up for any event, you grant The Galloping Guru permission to add your email to our newsletter database, which you can unsubscribe from at anytime.

The Galloping Guru does not share your personal information to any outside entities unless it is required for registration forms and on waivers for our partners. By purchasing you agree that we can share this information when required.
Photo, video and social media usage
The Galloping Guru uses photographs and videos of our riders for a variety of projects: media, advertising, social media networks, blogs, website, public press and PR and more. This sharing is comprised of internal and external audiences. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed or to have your imagery shared in any capacity you must send us an email expressing this concern so we can properly document and abide by your wishes.
